Doug has been with Hickok & Boardman for over ten years. As a grandson of the founder, Doug takes special pride in working for a company that shares his name. Doug grew up in Burlington and graduated from St. Lawrence University with a bachelor's degree in economics. His business and personal knowledge of the real estate market is unsurpassed in the area. As a testament to this, Doug achieved Coldwell Banker's International Diamond Society award of honor in 2007-given to associates in the top 13% of all Coldwell Banker Offices Internationally. Doug is known for representing the buyers in the two highest residential sales in Burlington history. Doug worked with the city of Burlington to analyze a number of large investment properties for social services. He was #1 in sales volume for Burlington representing buyer clients in 2005. Doug was also the #1 sales associate in VT for all Coldwell Banker associates for the first quarter of 2007.
In addition to real estate, Doug is very active in the Burlington Community. He is on the board of directors of the Opportunites Credit Union and past board member of the Sara Holbrook Center & The New North End Youth Center. Doug is also a United Way volunteer and fundraiser. He lives in Burlington with his wife, daughter and son. He enjoys skiing, boating, and playing golf.
